Full Job Description
As a Home Health Aide, you will be called to care when you’re needed most. As part of the team at Comforting Care, you’ll support a full range of patient services to bring comfort and dignity to our clients.

· Competitive pay $15- $17.00 AN HOUR ( HIGHEST PAYING AGENCY IN SOUTHERN INDIANA)

As a Home Health Aide / Caregiver you will:
· Provide direct patient care and assistance in accordance with the plan of care
· Obtain vital signs and other measurements as directed and documents findings
· Aid with daily living activities (i.e., bathing, dressing, oral hygiene, skin care)
· Recognize and report abnormal findings or changes in patient status

Requirements
To qualify for a Home Health Aide / Caregiver with us:
· Current and valid driver’s license
· Current and valid car insurance
· Experience as a caregiver or nursing field
· Team player
· Great communication skills
· High School diploma (or equivalent)
· Ability to pass drug screening
· Ability to pass criminal background check
· Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA or STNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certificate, (preferred)
· Attention to detail; able to carefully follow instructions and document notes regarding a patient’s condition
· Reliable transportation to/from care sites and/or work location

· personal care
· Attendant Care
· Homemaker Care
· dressing
· ambulation
· meal prep
· light housekeeping
· med reminders
· some transportation
· Errand Services
· maintain communication with family & friends
