Texas Oncology is looking for a Dual CT/X-Ray Tech to join our team! This position will support the Dallas Sammons location.
This position will be either a level 1, 2 or Sr based on relevant candidate experience.

What does the Multi-Modality Tech do?
Under general supervision, is responsible for the coordination and administration of all CT/X-Ray radiologic exams; ensures technical quality and timely reporting of results. Assures compliance with appropriate regulatory agencies related to patient and employee safety. Supports and adheres to the US Oncology Compliance Program, to include the Code of Ethics and Business Standards.
Responsibilities:ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Performs radiological procedures as ordered achieving a high level of quality.
- Confirms patient history and communicates areas of concern to physicians and others as appropriate.
- Ensures films and records are properly completed with relevant patient identification data and film labeling requirements.
- Computes and selects proper technical factors based on patient size, physical condition and suspected pathology.
- Processes and reviews films to ensure quality and completeness. Hangs films and provides diagnosis- related information to the physician as needed.
- Checks equipment to ensure working condition and notifies appropriate staff when repairs are needed. Maintains supplies for diagnostic procedures.
- Enters exam completion and charge information into computer.
- Provides protection for patient and self during all procedures. Follows all proscribed safety standards and ensures the physical comfort and safety of patients during procedures.
The ideal candidate for the Multi-Modality Tech position will have the following background and experience:
Level 1
- Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology from an accredited school.
- Minimum three years experience as a CT/X-Ray Technologist.
- Certification as a registered radiologic technologist (ARRT) required.
- Current IV and CPR certifications required.
- Certification in CT and X-Ray preferred.
Level 2 (in addition to level 1 requirements)
- Minimum five years experience as a CT/X-rayTechnologist.
Level Sr (in addition to level 1 and 2 requirements)
- Minimum seven years experience as a CT/X-Ray Technologist.

Requires ability to reach above shoulder height. Requires sitting/standing for extensive periods of time. Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range.
