Under the direction of the Data Analytics Manager, the Data Analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs, extract and analyze data, and develop reports or tools to empower decision-makers with timely and relevant insights.

Responsibilities:- Collaborate cross-functionally to understand data needs and deliver insights through ad hoc and long-term reports, dashboards, and tools using Power BI and/or Excel.
- Analyze datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive business performance and inform strategic decision-making. Make recommendations and implement solutions to align business functions with organizational goals.
- Support automation and standardization of reporting processes and tools, ensuring efficient and consistent data analysis across the company.
- Optimize and maintain dashboards to ensure timely, accurate, and user-friendly reporting, including troubleshooting and performance enhancements as needed.
- Validate data accuracy and reliability by conducting thorough testing of dashboards, reports, and tools.
- Communicate complex data and analysis in a clear, actionable manner to influence decision-making at all levels.
- Provide end-user support and training on data tools and solutions, assisting with software implementation when necessary.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in business intelligence and data visualization to continually enhance reporting and analysis capabilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Proven ability to manage and deliver on multiple projects with great attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proactive self-starter with strong initiative, effective at managing time independently and collaborating with teams.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, including the ability to identify and address business problems and opportunities.
- Ability to propose and support process changes and initiatives.
- Skilled in collecting, organizing, analyzing, and disseminating information.
- Continuous learner, staying updated with industry trends and data analysis technologies.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, mathematics, economics, finance, or a related field.
- Construction industry experience is considered a plus.
- Proficiency with Excel and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI preferred, Domo, or similar)
- Working knowledge of data management best practices and experience implementing and maintaining them
- Understanding of relational database concepts, basic mathematics and statistics, and experience with SQL, DAX, and/or M (Power Query language).
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, adhere to standards, and proactively address issues with solutions.
Working Conditions:
- The Data Analyst’s work is primarily performed indoors at Brinkmann’s corporate office
- This role requires regular office hours, with potential for extended hours during reporting cycles
- Light physical effort is required, including the handling of objects up to 10 pounds and some
- Standing, walking, sitting, talking and/or hearing
