The Professional Services Data Analyst position is aligned with the GS&PS Professional Services and Contingent Resource Management Team to generate, consolidate and analyze Procurement data and deliver spend and operational insights. The position will work in a collaborative team environment, with independent duties. The Data Analyst role will support the team to ensure data integrity and provide checks and balances via dashboard visualization and reports for data quality and oversight. In addition, the Data Analyst role will work with the Data and Tools team and the Professional Services team to gather reporting requirements to help define the data structure for any new sources of Procurement data, reporting and dashboarding capabilities. Responsibilities include,but are not limited to supporting the data and tools team in the development of the GS&PS operational, savings and spend dashboards, provide data analysis, documenting processes, working with the business to gather data/reporting/dashboard requirements, supporting business reporting requests and resolving data anomalies as identified. The Professional Services Business Analyst will also be responsible for supporting ad-hoc projects to execute on insights provided.

What you need to know:
- Understand GS&PS processes, tools and the data collected in those processes
- Support reporting requests, dashboard and data visualization development and data validation
- Support administrative tasks and projects, as required.
- Work with Professional Services team and Data and Tools team to analyze, define and document data/reporting requirements
- Work with Data and Tools team to support reporting and dashboard development requests and validation of reports and dashboards
- Performs other duties as assigned or requested
What were looking for:
- 5+ years as a business data analyst role, including reporting and dashboard development
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the Sourcing, Contract Management and Purchasing (Preferred)
- Experience with dashboard development and data visualization within a Business Intelligence Platform (Power BI/Tableau/Qlik Sense)
- Advanced Microsoft Office Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, macros etc)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Access)
- Familiarity with SAP, Ariba and Fieldglass applications
- Strong negotiation, analytical, decision making, problem resolution and organizational skills.
- Experience working with data warehouses, auditing data and identifying data anomalies & root causes
- Client Servicing - ability to anticipate client (internal and external) needs and act proactively
- Ability to manage multiple deliverables
- High sense of ownership and responsibility to all stakeholders to ensure work quality.
