Job Description:
- We are seeking Project Manager with a minimum of 10 years of demonstrable experience in overseeing highly complex projects within dynamic environments.
- The ideal candidate may possess a Project Management Professional (PMP), Six Sigma, SAFe certification, and a deep understanding of agile and lean principles.
- The primary responsibility of this role is to efficiently manage cross-functional teams, track project progress, mitigate dependencies, and proactively address blockers to ensure successful project delivery.
- Additionally, experience in data management and implementing data management platforms is highly desirable.
- Project Leadership: Provide strategic direction and leadership to project teams, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
- Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, resources, and risk management strategies.
- Stakeholder Management: Effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels to gather requirements, communicate project status, and manage expectations.
- Team Management: Lead and motivate cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
- Progress Tracking: Implement robust project tracking mechanisms to monitor progress, identify deviations, and take corrective actions, as necessary.
- Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify project risks, assess their potential impact, and develop mitigation plans to minimize disruptions.
- Dependency Management: Manage dependencies across multiple work streams, coordinating efforts to ensure timely delivery and alignment.
- Issue Resolution: Address project issues and blockers in a timely manner, escalating to higher management when necessary to facilitate resolution.
- Quality Assurance: Uphold high standards of quality throughout the project lifecycle, conducting regular reviews and implementing best practices.
- Data Management: Oversee data management initiatives within projects, including implementing data management platforms, ensuring data quality, and facilitating data integration efforts.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous process improvement initiatives, leveraging lessons learned to enhance project delivery capabilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management, with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is required.
- Proficiency in agile methodologies and frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) is essential.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across diverse teams.
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Experience working in fast-paced, dynamic environments with rapidly evolving priorities.
- Familiarity with project management tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA, Asana) is preferred.
- Experience in data management and implementing data management platforms is highly desirable.
