Job Title: Level 3 Data Center Technician
Location: Goodyear and Downtown Phoenix (near the airport)
Job Description: We are seeking a skilled L3 Data Center Technician with a minimum of 2 years of dedicated data center experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting large GPU deployments within an enterprise data center environment. Flexibility to work at both Goodyear and Downtown Phoenix sites is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Remove network cables as part of data center decommissioning.
- Run, label, and stage power and networking cables.
- Follow procedures for preparing, installing, performing diagnostics, troubleshooting, replacing, and/or decommissioning equipment with guidance from Data Center Technician Leads.
- Prepare, stage, set up, and perform basic startups and shutdowns for hardware following written instructions, checklists, guides, and standard procedures.
- Conduct physical audits of data center assets.
- Monitor systems for equipment failure or performance errors.
- Respond to program error messages by identifying and correcting problems or terminating the program.
- Assist programmers and systems analysts in testing and debugging new programs.
- Operate spreadsheet programs and other software to load, manipulate data, and produce reports.

Top Skills’ Details:
- 3+ years of data center technician experience (break/fix, deployment, troubleshooting).
- GPU deployment experience (highly desirable but not required).
- IT skills with a network/systems background.
Secondary Skills - Nice to Haves:
- Additional IT certifications or training.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware, servers, and components.
- Basic understanding of MS Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word).
- Flexibility to work non-standard business hours, including weekends and/or holidays.
- Associate’s degree in computer programming or equivalent training preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and customer service orientation.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- Candidates must be open to working at both Goodyear and Downtown Phoenix sites.
- Some roles may require night shifts, which come with a 10% shift differential.
Work Environment:
- Data center environment with limited oversight from full-time employees (FTEs).
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required and provided, including composite-toed boots (reimbursed up to $100), high-visibility vests, safety glasses, cut-resistant gloves, and ear protection.
- Some sites are under construction and may require additional PPE, such as hard hats.
