The candidate will be responsible for creating data products and services for DataCloud s Data Monetization initiative. Specifically,
- Conduct quantitative data analysis using a variety of datasets, including developing retrieval, processing, fusion, analysis, and visualization of various datasets
- Explore the usage patterns and help with profiling the data from various datasets acquired from both internal and external data sources
- Build data pipelines in AWS in a cost-effective manner
- Work with product groups to understand existing data and work towards cleansing and conforming that data
- Work through complex data problems using SQL, PLSQL, Python, PySpark and Cloud services to deliver data products to end users
- Testing and QA of all steps of data processing
- Builds and produces reports and dashboards to visualize the analysis outcomes
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in engineering, computer science or related field.
- 7+ years relevant industry and functional experience in database technologies & Big data
- 5+ years of experience in two or more of the areas of focus: Data Analytics, Big data, AI/Client
- 3+ experience with Cloud technologies, especially AWS services (S3, Athena, Glue, DynamoDB, Step Functions, Aurora, etc)
- Experience in building data pipelines using SQL, Python & Pyspark in AWS
- Experience in building Data Quality framework
- Ability to uncover and develop data-oriented stories that resonate with business partners/executive audiences
- Some understanding of HCM and Payroll domains
- Excellent analytical ability to understand business issues associated with data management and governance, business processes in terms of data, and related standards, data security and privacy
- Experience working Snowflake and/or Databricks
- Familiarity with cloud-native DevOps automation
