Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Data Power Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in Data Power infrastructure management and development. This role involves working with various Data Power services, troubleshooting issues, and implementing solutions for complex integration scenarios.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage Data Power firmware upgrades and handle infrastructure-related tasks.

Troubleshoot and diagnose issues within Data Power using tools such as probes, TCP connection tests, network traces, and latency logs.

Work with Crypto Certificate objects and manage certificate creation, maintenance, and encryption.

Utilize different DataPower service classes, including WSGateway, Multi Protocol Gateway (MPGW), and XML Firewall Service (XFW).

Develop and configure DataPower components such as WSP, XFW, MPGW, FSH, and Log targets.

Create and maintain AAA policies and perform error handling and troubleshooting.

Program using XSLT and work with XML, SOA, web services, SOAP, WSDL, and REST.

Use SoapUI and other testing tools for DataPower verification.

Familiarize with gateway scripting and have knowledge of Cloud Paks for Integration and OpenShift is a plus.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

Proficiency with DataPower, including firmware upgrades, troubleshooting, Crypto Certificate objects, and service classes.

Experience with Data Power development, including working with DPXI52 devices, DP Extension functions, and various Data Power components.

Strong skills in XSLT programming, XML, SOA, web services, SOAP, WSDL, and REST.

Experience with SoapUI and other DataPower testing tools.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Nice to Have:

Knowledge of gateway scripting.

Familiarity with Cloud Paks for Integration.

Experience with OpenShift.
