About the Job
Data Quality Coordinator is a compliance critical position. This coordinator provides technical IPS expertise and stewardship for the TFS field personnel, and ensures IPS data is always audit-ready.
Under some supervision, performs work activities and projects requiring technical knowledge in a safe, effective, efficient and economic accomplishment of assigned objectives.
1. Work with asset engineering to determine compliance applicability for legacy and new PRC-005 assets.
2. Perform varied assignments demonstrating technical knowledge and analytical techniques to solution of problems or analysis.
3. Work with audit oversight to research and summarize possible compliance violations.
4. General understanding of standard PRC-005 – Protection System, Automatic Reclosing, and Sudden Pressure Relaying Maintenance of the Bulk Electric System (BES).
5. Monitor asset action activities within the IPS Asset Management system, for compliance obligations.
6. Work with others in both supplying information and seeking assistance as necessary.
7. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and prints.
8. Ability to articulate written and verbal communication to all levels of leadership.
9. Requires a basic knowledge of regulatory compliance and how to interpret legal documentation.
10. Responsible for the creation and updates of the upgrade program's procedural and policy documents.
11. Creation and management of multiple Station and P&C projects and maintenance programs.
Requirements: Proficient in Excel, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat
Experience with utilizing IPS, Vault, Bentley View, Scanview, Ecosys, Maximo, Business Objects, and IR Routing. Basic programming skills (Visual Basic) is a huge plus.
Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree in a related technical field from an accredited university or college with one year of experience, or an Associate's technical degree and 3 years of experience.
