Position Description
We are currently seeking an Oracle Database Administrator to join Enterprise Data Management team. This is a full-time position with benefits.
The Oracle Database Administrator will be responsible to Design, Build, Deliver, and Maintain Oracle Databases to address business and technical requirements, leveraging standard IT processes, principles and patterns.
Primary Skills Required
- Strong understanding of Oracle 12c/19c database administration tools and practices including RMAN, Oracle Grid, ASM, Real Application Clusters (RAC) and OEM.* PL/SQL tuning, diagnostics, proficient with the use of Oracle's Enterprise Manager.* Ability to perform basic PL/SQL development, UNIX and Linux shell scripting.* Ability to solve problems independently, quickly and completely, and to communicate them clearly to peers, customers, and management.* Ability to effectively adapt to rapidly changing technology and apply it to business needs.* Strong customer focus and management of customer expectations, ability to establish and maintain a positive level of user trust and confidence in IT's knowledge of and concern for users "business needs".* Develop/maintain application documentation following standards.

* Bachelor’s degree required in information technology or related field.

Work Experience Required
* Requires at least five years of hands-on Oracle database administration experience contributing to the successful design, development, implementation and change management of mission critical databases.* Oracle Database Administration experience with configuration, maintenance, legacy data conversion, data warehousing, database tuning, backups, disaster recovery, load balancing, backup/recovery, sizing and space management.
