RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Database Administrator in Greenwood Village, CO.
Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Database Administrator with hands-on experience in testing, both manual and performance-based. The role involves working on the development and testing of front-end and back-end components for a confidential project. The ideal candidate will have experience with manual database testing, familiarity with performance testing tools like JMeter, and an interest in moving towards automated testing. This position offers the opportunity to work on new, cutting-edge projects in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
* Database Administrator will perform manual testing of databases, front-end, and back-end APIs for a new project
* Collaborate on the development and deployment of new front-end and back-end features
* Conduct performance testing using tools like JMeter or similar platforms
* Test and validate database functionalities during deployments
* As a Database Administrator, you will contribute to the move from manual to automated testing processes
* Write and execute test scripts for database and API testing
* Troubleshoot and resolve issues found during testing
REQUIREMENTS:
* Manual Testing: Strong experience in manual testing of databases and APIs (front-end and back-end)
* Performance Testing: Familiarity with performance testing tools such as JMeter (or a willingness to learn new tools)
* Scripting: Ability to write and execute scripts for testing purposes
* Database Administration: Solid experience with database administration, including deployment and testing
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
