The Learning Grove Academy, in Westfield, IN, is looking for daycare teachers (lead educators) to join our ROCKSTAR team and support in all classrooms. We have openings in Infants, Toddlers, Early Preschool, Preschool, Pre-K and Montessori classrooms. We are an accredited, licensed childcare center. We offer no nights, no weekends, and flexible working shifts! Our ideal candidates are self-motivated, reliable, dedicated, and passionate about helping children thrive in a learning environment.

What a day looks like working with our children... 

• Prepare and implement lesson plans/curriculum covering all areas of child development according to classroom schedule/daily routine.  
• Establish a professional level of rapport with each family to provide quality care for the children.  
• Responsible for the safety and well-being of each child, responding to their emotional needs. 
• Maintain a child assessment and portfolio for each child, as well as conduct biannual parent/teacher conferences during the month of November and May.  
• Carry out the daily responsibilities of the classroom relating to the care of the children. 

Qualifications 

• CDA (Child Development Associate) OR an associate in early childhood education  
• Experience as a lead teacher is a plus!
