Deburr Technician - Spherion

Spherion Naples is seeking a Deburr Technician responsible for removing burrs, sharp edges, or other imperfections from machined metal parts. In addition to applying paint into fine grooves. And, occasionally using an indicator to straighten medical instruments. Operators must have a keen eye for detail and need to follow safety procedures when using tools and equipment. This role is critical in ensuring the overall quality and functionality of our manufactured parts.

Responsibilities:
Inspect parts for burrs, sharp edges, or other imperfections as described in work instructions. And remove the sharp edges and burrs accordingly.
Use appropriate tooling and equipment based on necessary duties.
Setup and tear down equipment according to safety guidelines and operational requirements for all required Secondary operations tasks.
Perform designated operations as per customer drawing/ work order traveler requirements.
Maintain accurate records of activities, including part numbers, quantities, methods used, and any issues encountered.
Communicate with supervisor, quality control personnel, and other team members to address workflow issues, and ensure timely completion of tasks.
Maintain a clean, organized work area to ensure efficiency and safety.

Working hours: 4:00 PM - 12:30 AM

Skills:
Must be able to use a microscope and identify non conformances
Must be able to read and write and determine the differences in color according to the customer print for painting
Excellent attention to detail, along with the ability to ignore distractions while working

Education:
High School

Experience:
1-4 years

Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED is required
Expereince in mechanical assembly, manufacturing or production is needed
Expereince in medical device manufacturing is preferred
Must be able to speak, read and understand the English language for safety purposes and in order to take direction
Must have at least 20/20 vision ??? with vision correction aides (i.e. glasses, contacts)
Must be able to remain seated for extended periods and operate shop resources with arms and hands
Must be able to climb stairs and lift upwards of 50lbs
