The OpportunityThe success of our events is critically tied to audience outcomes & our ability to drive ROI for our sponsors. That said, we are looking for a Delegate Acquisition Manager who will lead attendee recruitment & community management for ISMG’s vendor-sponsored events. In this role, you will focus on understanding the target audience of our sponsors & engage in a variety of strategies to identify, attract, & secure qualified guests for our events.

What You'll Be Doing
- Researching target markets & persona profiles to identify specific audience groups & expand our current database.
- Satisfying attendance goals for a portfolio of global events in various industries, converting prospects into event attendees.
- Identifying & attracting qualified attendees by working off a defined account list, conducting independent research, & networking with Senior Executives for referrals.
- Utilizing a variety of research strategies/tactics to identify net new, unsolicited contacts & meet a monthly goal of database additions.
- Connecting with C-Level & other Executive Leadership prospects through phone calls, Social Media/LinkedIn & email campaigns for event registration.
- Creating & managing email invitations, utilizing A/B testing, & analyzing performance to improve response rates & conversions.
- Tracking attendance confirmations & limiting attrition through consistent communication with registrants throughout the event life cycle.
- Maintaining & nurturing a past attendee & prospect database using ISMG’s CRM tools.
- Engaging in post-event conversations to collect feedback from former attendees & gauge interest in possible future events.
- Analyzing event results & performance, showcasing key metrics for improvement.
- Monitoring industry trends & staying up-to-date on new marketing technologies & techniques.
- A Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Marketing, Events, or related fields.
- Entry level experience or fundamental knowledge in delegate acqusition, audience/attendance development, and/or recruitment.
- Experience with or exposure to B2B events is a plus.
- knowledge of the cybersecurity/IT industry is a plus.
- Ability to concisely convey value propositions & alter messaging based on a prospect’s individual interests.
- Strong communication skills, both written & verbal.
- Excellent organization & time management skills with an ability to work independently in a fast-paced media environment.
