passionate individual to join our Dental Services Team as a Dental
Assistant! This is a new position that will support our Pediatric team,
supporting our provider and team with chair side assistance,
sterilization and other documentations as needed. If you have a passion

Work 36 hours each week, 4 days a week, 9 hour shifts Monday-Friday
7:00am - 4:00pm Travel to La Crosse, Tomah and Winona Opportunity to

Assistant is responsible for assisting dental specialists by providing
diagnostic, treatment, and educational services to patients and family
members. The Dental Assistant is also expected to ensure the support,
safety and comfort of the patient. Major Responsibilities: 1. Works with
dental specialists to assist with dental procedures for examination,
diagnostic and treatment procedures. 2. Provides education related to
procedures, oral hygiene, postsurgical/presurgical for both patient and
family members. 3. Provides appropriate infection control procedures,
including decontamination/sterilization of instruments as indicated,
environmental clean up and preparation, medical history review. 4.
Maintain appropriate inventory of supplies and proper equipment
maintenance. 5. Carries out miscellaneous lab, office and additional
duties as needed. 6. Works with new employees to provide training and
education. 7. Responsible for achieving and maintaining proficiency in
the Dental Specialties competency assessment checklist. 8. In some
dental specialty sections, the dental assistant may be required to act
as a recorder or scribe for the purposes of drafting clinic notes in the
electronic medical records of patients that are being examined for or
are receiving treatment. Proper training and access will be provided to
those employees. 9. Adheres to regular and predictable attendance. 10.
Personally interacts, engages with and cares for patients. 11. Ensures
patient safety. 12. Performs other job-related responsibilities as
requested or assigned. Education and Learning: REQUIRED High School
