Dental Assistant - Schaffer Dental Excellence

At Schaffer Dental Excellence, we provide superior professional dental services to ensure optimal oral health for patients. We are seeking a dynamic Dental Assistant to join with our team of caring providers to ensure that our patients are provided with a stellar experience each time they visit.

 Schedule: This is a full-time role and no Weekends!

• Monday 6:45am - 4:00pm
• Tuesday 6:45am - 4:00pm
• Wednesday 6:45am - 4:00pm
• Thursday 6:45am - 4:00pm
• Friday: 6:45am - 2:30pm

As part of our team you will be responsible for the following (not limited to):

• Welcome patients and get them situated in the appropriate treatment room.
• Assist the doctor in providing care to the patient.
• Be knowledgeable of existing and emerging technologies and clinical initiatives that impact the back-office experience.
• Actively monitor lab materials and supplies.
• Develop a relationship with the patient.
• Follow all OSHA/HIPAA guidelines.
• Clean and sterilize instruments and prepare treatment rooms as needed.
• Take, expose, and mount high quality dental radiographs.
• Contribute to the team in achieving business objectives to accomplish goals.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for patients and team.

• 1+ years of experience working as a Dental Assistant
• High school diploma or GED.
• Other certifications as required by the state, as an example: Radiology Certification, CPR, Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) or Registered Dental Assistant in Extended Functions (RDAEF), etc.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with Dental Softwares as Dentrix Core is preferred.
