Position Overview: As a Dental Scheduling Coordinator, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, ensuring a smooth and efficient scheduling process. Your role is crucial in maintaining our practice's workflow, ensuring that our dental professionals can deliver the highest level of care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule patient appointments, follow-ups, and consultations efficiently and accurately.
- Manage the appointment calendar, optimizing the schedule to maximize productivity.
- Confirm and remind patients of their appointments via phone, email, or text.
- Handle patient inquiries, providing excellent customer service and addressing concerns promptly.
- Coordinate with dental staff to accommodate urgent or emergency appointments.
- Maintain patient records and update the scheduling system regularly.
- Verify patient insurance information and assist with billing and insurance claims as needed.
- Ensure a clean and organized reception area.
- Assist with other administrative tasks as required.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working in a dental office is required.
- Customer Service experience is required.
- Previous experience in a dental office or medical scheduling is highly preferred.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in dental scheduling software is preferred.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Customer-service oriented with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
