Monticciolo Family & Sedation Dentistry is a privately owned dental group in the Tampa Bay area with 12 locations and growing. We are excited to have an opportunity for a Revenue Cycle Manager.
The Revenue Cycle Manager is responsible for the management and oversight of various platforms within the revenue cycle process. This position includes managing a team of dental billing coordinators and is also responsible for leading and planning billing operations. This position works to continuously review and improve billing processes and policies, including implementation and enforcing new and existing processes and policies, and ensuring overall streamlined and effective billing operations. This position is highly visible and requires a strong, kind leader with the ability to prioritize, plan and direct the department.
Responsibilities:Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Direct and oversee functions of billing staff
- Review, design, and implement processes surrounding patient and insurance billing
- Prepare reports and analysis to monitor trends. Track statistics of various department metrics
- Ensure consistent quality audits of insurance and patient balances as per schedule (e.g., monthly)
- Lead meetings related to AR review
- Analyze AR and determine trends or issues with appropriate action for timely resolution, including both internal resources/staff and external payors
- Work collaboratively, respectfully, and positively across departments on overlapping workflow improvements or issues/barriers
- Review and approve various transactions including refunds and adjustments/write-offs
- Plan and conduct positive, collaborative, respectful and efficient meetings on a regular basis with staff
- Other Duties as Assigned
The ideal candidate with possess the following:
- Minimum of 2 years of Dental Billing Experience
- Previous Management Experience
- Knowledge of PPO and HMO Dental Insurance
- Basic Knowledge of Doctor Credentialing
- Dentrix experience preferred
