                                         Dentist - Lake Erie Correctional Institution in Conneaut, OH

Qualifications and Responsibilities:

The Dentist is responsible for professional dental care for inmates.

Performs general dentistry including examining teeth and gums for cavities, infections and diseases; takes necessary x-rays; performs fillings and extractions as warranted.

Diagnoses and develops treatment plans for inmates.

Develops, coordinates and supervises the facility dental program to include advising and instructing inmates in the cause and prevention of dental disease.

Must have an active Ohio license with DEA and ACLS

Compensation: $150,000 -$200,000/yr

Lake Erie Correctional Institution is located in Conneaut, OH. Conneaut is on the border of Pennsylvania.  The facility houses Ohio Department of Corrections male inmates. The clinic has a 24-hour nursing staff with dental, medical and mental health staff during the day..
