Department Human Resources Representative - req# 31341 - University of New Mexico

The University of New Mexico, College of Nursing (CON) is looking for an experienced, detail-oriented Department Human Resource Representative to join our team of professionals. This position will coordinate and execute human resources activities and programs of the CON.

The Department Human Resource Representative will report to the Associate Director of Administrative Operations and Human Resources of the CON.

Responsibilities include:

• Oversees and coordinates all human resources administrative procedures and documentation processes
• Records management including maintains logs, filing, and recordkeeping systems, and ensures that all relevant CON records are complete, accurate, and up-to-date; performs data entry and maintains various computer databases.
• Various data entry and maintenance of various database as they relate to Human Resources, including reporting.
• Oversees, guides, and coordinates search committee activities.
• Use personal computers and software programs in an office environment to extract, revise, or sort information from files, records, or databases
• Flexible with the capacity to pivot priorities in a fast-paced setting
• Trains staff and/or student employees engaged in related activities

College of Nursing

Successful completion of at least 60 college-level credit hours; at least 4 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.

Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ability to communicate effectively as evidenced by your cover letter
• Knowledge of core human resource disciplines, as well as federal and state employment laws
• Strong interpersonal and relationship building experience
• Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality
• MS Office Suite
• Self-motivated, resourceful, detail-oriented, and enthusiastic
