Salary: Salary depends on experience (DOE); starting at $90,000 to DOE

Location: Boise, Idaho. As Idaho’s capital, Boise offers a rich variety of both cultural and recreational opportunities. Idaho’s world-famous fly-fishing, skiing, kayaking and hiking are all within easy access. Housing costs are moderate.
Primary Duties: This is a prosecutor position in the Idaho Attorney General’s Special Prosecutions Unit. The caseload will primarily include internet crimes against children, public corruption, unemployment fraud, and referrals from county prosecuting attorneys. Prosecutors in this unit may also be assigned to assist county prosecuting attorneys in major cases. The duties of this position include handling all aspects of criminal prosecution, from screening and charging through trial and sentencing; working closely with in-house investigators; and appearing in courtrooms throughout Idaho.
Minimum Qualifications: Must be licensed to practice law in Idaho. Jury trial experience is required. Applicant must be willing to frequently travel throughout the state and must be comfortable handling cases with media attention. Enthusiasm for public service is essential.
Preferred Qualifications: At least two years of prosecution experience is preferred.
