About the Job
Integrity Initiatives International (integrityinitiatives.org) is an international NGO focused on combatting grand corruption by strengthening the enforcement of criminal laws against corrupt leaders, also known as kleptocrats. III works to end grand corruption by: supporting national measures, such as the High Anti-Corruption Court in Ukraine; promoting understanding of the close connection between high level corruption and the worst abuses of human rights; forging a network of young people dedicated to combatting corruption in their own countries and around the world; and catalyzing and coordinating a campaign to establish the International Anti-Corruption Court (IACC).
III is a fiscally sponsored organization of TSNE (tsne.org).
Responsibilities:
The Deputy Director supports III’s Managing Director in leading efforts to create an IACC, including leading on communications and helping build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders including governments, civil society, experts, and philanthropies.
Essential Functions
The Deputy Director participates in the full range of III’s activities including:
Supporting Strategic Leadership
- Work with the Board of Directors and Managing Director to develop and update strategic plans for III programs including its support for national anti-corruption measures, the III Youth Leaders Network, and, in particular, the campaign to establish an International Anti-Corruption Court.
- Work with the Managing Director to coordinate the complex, overlapping groups of Board members, philanthropies, civil society partners, governments, and individual external partners involved in the campaign for an IACC.
Communications
- Participate in the development of the communications strategy for the IACC campaign and monitor its effectiveness.
- Develop relationships with members of the media and respond to requests for interviews and information.
- With the Managing Director, lead the development of talking points, infographics, video content, briefing materials, press releases, op-eds, and information packets for presentations.
- Oversee quality control of III’s social media presence and websites, and track engagement.
Finance and Development
- Assist the Managing Director in the management of the annual operating budget and program-related budgets.
- Support the Managing Director in fundraising efforts, including but not limited to meeting with existing and potential funders, grant writing, grant reporting, and coordinating additional staff or expertise to support fundraising processes as needed.
- Support daily operations, administrative tasks and other tasks and projects related to the job, as needed.
Special Requirements
- Ability to work early in the morning or in the evening to communicate with the Chair of III and with board members and partners around the world.
- Travel within the United States and abroad.
We will consider exceptional candidates who demonstrate a strong combination of the specific qualifications and skills described below.
- 10+ years of non-profit leadership and project management experience;
- Bachelor’s degree (required) or a master’s degree (preferred);
- Experience in law, politics, international relations, or a related field;
- Knowledge of and a passion for combatting grand corruption;
- Demonstrated experience and leadership in developing, implementing, and evaluating a comprehensive strategies and action plans to advance a mission and related goals;
- Demonstrated skills in strategic communications, leadership, and interpersonal skills;
- Proven track record of successful fundraising and donor management;
- Experience writing, editing, and placing content in a variety of traditional and social media;
- Ability to transform technical jargon into communications messages for a variety of audiences;
- Demonstrated ability to be tactful with the timing and delivery of information;
- A high level of responsibility and accountability;
- Valid passport for international travel; and
- Legally authorized to work in the United States. (This position is not open to candidates requiring sponsorship);
- Experience with MailChimp, Squarespace, Canva, Adobe Suite, and similar applications is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits
Location: Work will be performed remotely from the individual’s personal home office located in the East Coast area preferably near New York, Massachusetts, or Washington, DC.
Schedule: Full-time Monday – Friday including early mornings and occasional nights and weekends. III generally operates on EST and is flexible due to international work.
Compensation: The pay range for this position is $80,000 - $95,000/yr.
