We are seeking a Design Consultant in Lynnwood, WA. As Design Consultant, under the direction of the Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for meeting with customers to make finish selections and to pull permits as needed
What You Will Do:
The Design Consultant performs the following duties along with any additional duties as assigned by management per business needs.
- Review project plans to determine what finish selections are needed.
- Schedule meetings with customers to make finish selections.
- Create kitchen designs and layouts via 2020 software or Sketch App
- Source samples for items that may not be available in the showroom.
- Keep showrooms at Seattle-Pasco stocked, organized, and clean.
- Work with Vendors to make sure we have the best finish selections and the best price.
- If needed collect exact measurements to determine the amount of finish materials needed
- Stay in constant contact with the assigned project manager on the status of finish selections and timelines for product delivery.
- Complete all necessary company approved forms and documents including Material Selections, Change Orders, etc.
- Attending all appropriate company meetings and company sponsored training sessions.
- Participate in special projects as needed.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
What You Will Bring:
- 2-3 years of construction related experience in finish selection.
- Degree in Interior Design or equivalent job experience
- Ability to work both independently and as a team.
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong computer skills
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance.
- Good time management skills
- Problem solving ability.
- Strong sense of urgency
- Clean driving record
- Clean background report
