Design Engineer CATIA (Fort Worth, TX)
We are seeking a Design Engineer for our client, a leading global security and aerospace company. In this role, you will evaluate and investigate pertinent design factors on F-16 retrofit and production engineering design, 3-D models and drawings including all related design data
This is a 12-month contract (extensions likely), 40-hour-per-week role (4 days 10-hour shifts weekly). This role is onsite supporting our client's Fort Worth, TX facility.
This is a W-2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions employee. Health benefits and 401K are offered.
Responsibilities:
- Identify design compatibility errors and verify all features are of one interpretation, complete and adequate for downstream users.
- Ensure the engineering design, models/drawings and related data meet all contractual, company, and Program requirements.
- Utilize working knowledge and application experience in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing based on ASME Y14.5 along with ASME Y14.100 Engineering Drawing Practices.
- Utilize working knowledge and application experience on a computer-aided design system with 3D experience.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in CATIA.
- Knowledge of ASME Y14.100 Drawings, and Y14.5 GD&T, prior drawing and model checking, design, and engineering change process experience.
- Working experience in a model-centric environment and efficient with PC operations and MS Office Suite.
- Bachelor's degree.

Compensation: $55/hr. - $62/hr.
