Design Engineer - BKF Engineers

BKF is seeking a Design Engineer to join our Transportation team in San Jose!

BKF has an immediate opening for a civil engineer with strong technical abilities, experience in transportation project design, and able to work with a team of engineers on small and large projects. Main duties will include:

• Geometric calculations and plotting (cross-sections, profiles, etc.)
• Routine hydraulics calculations
• Site grading calculations and plotting
• Computer and CAD systems usage
• Research/data collection from public agencies

Requirements

• 0 - 3 years of experience in site development, and design of residential and/or commercial subdivisions, utility systems, and roadways
• B.S. in Civil Engineering or related field from an ABET Accredited Curriculum or equivalent required
• EIT/ FE certification preferred
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D is a plus

• The typical base salary range for this position is $80,000 - $101,500 annualized depending upon skills, experience, education, and geographical location. This is an hourly position paid biweekly.
