As Design Release Engineer (Powertrain + Chassis), you will be responsible for:
- Responsible for design of motor and engine mounts and other chassis and powertrain components.
- Evaluate the performances of mechanical assemblies.
- Collaborate with suppliers to manage designs, design documents, execute engineering disciplines, and ensure component deliveries.
- Work with various teams for manufacturing, assembly, and operation.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of mechanical design experience with at least 3-4 years of chassis or powertrain experience included.
- Experience working with electrical motors within the automotive field.
- Proficiency in design using CAD tools such as CATIA V6 or CATIA V5 and experience with 2D drawings, including GD&T.
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering (Master's or PhD is a plus).
Salary Range: $120,000 - $130,000
The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate's combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience.
