Global financial firm seeking a Senior Desktop Support engineer to support the trading and operational teams in NY office
Responsibilities
Serves as point of escalation for helpdesk and provide support for hardware, OS, and VDI related incidents by determining appropriate solutions to problems including software, hardware, network, and system integration requirements
Participates in activities to evaluate new technology developments, applications and end-point solutions. Performs tasks associated with evaluation, design, installation, configuration, upgrades, testing, documentation, and expansion for desktop, laptop, management, operating technologies including virtualization strategies
Provide support to iOS mobile infrastructure/InTune and mobile related escalations
Daily conference room walkthrough and management
Coordination of New hire onboardings, offboardings, new hire orientations, new user setup, hardware installation, folder permissions, application testing, and desk moves.
OS imaging of workstations and laptops using SCCM
Cisco VOIP phones and CUCM support
Provide white glove support to founding partners and VIPs
Candidate Profile
3+ years of relevant Help Desk or IT Support related experience within Financial Services industry
Experience within Asset Management a plus
Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to collaborate with stakeholders
Active Directory administration experience preferred
Familiarity with following systems a plus; Windows 10, Microsoft Office 365, VDI’s, Citrix XenDesktops, XenApps, Cisco, Cisco Call Unity, Intune, Microsoft Authenticator, Azure Active Directory SSO/Identity Management, Zoom video conferencing.
