DevOps Engineer from Innova Solutions

An Innova Solutions has a Client that is immediately hiring for a DevOps Engineer.

Position Type: Full-Time Contract

Duration: 12+ months

Location: Jacksonville, FL (Hybrid)

As a DevOps Engineer, you will:

Job Description:

Base Image Preparation: Design, create, and maintain base images for application environments.

Optimize images for performance and security by implementing best practices.

Containerization: Utilize Docker for container orchestration, deployment, and management.

Implement Docker Compose for multi-container applications and services.

Scripting and Automation: Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation of deployment tasks and system configurations.

Create CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.

Monitoring and Logging: Set up and manage monitoring solutions using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana).

Ensure proper logging and monitoring of containerized applications.

Configuration Management: Manage configuration and deployment processes using tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.

Collaboration and Support: Collaborate with development and QA teams to streamline deployment processes and resolve issues.

Provide support for infrastructure and application troubleshooting.

Top 3 skills:

Expertise in Docker for containerization and orchestration.

Proficient in PowerShell for scripting and automation tasks.

Experience with Linux operating systems, including shell scripting.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:

Pay Range*: $65 - $67 Per Hour

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
