Developer III (COBOL) - Hansen Talent Group

Hansen Talent Group is hiring a Developer III to work with a large enterprise in Columbia, SC. This is a hybrid opportunity and will require 3 days/ week onsite. This role involves application design, development, and maintenance within a mainframe environment.

What you'll do:

• Perform application analysis, design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation.
• Develop complex programs to support and enhance information systems.
• Research and define project scope and objectives for new or modified systems.

Qualifications:

• Expertise in applications development, QA, and integration for mainframe and midrange environments.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented, team-oriented, and able to meet deadlines.

Technical Skills:

• COBOL, APS, DB2, IMS, Eztrieve, JCL, IBM MQ
• VS Code, Git
