What You Will Do:
As the Diesel Fleet Mechanic, you will assemble, maintain, and repair equipment and/or vehicles. You are skilled at utilizing various machines and tools to ensure the functionality and reliability of the fleet of vehicles while following Company safety policies and procedures.
You will inspect equipment, engines, and transmissions, run diagnostic tests and conduct repairs, troubleshoot reported problems and resolve within a timely manner, perform preventative maintenance, provide consultation on corrective maintenance actions to vehicle users and management, perform road calls as needed, and other duties as assigned.

- Are at least 18 years of age or older
- Have a valid driver's license with clean driving record; CDL is preferred.
- Are willing to undergo a background/MVR check, a DOT physical and drug screen
- Have experience as a diesel mechanic
- Have a mechanic certification, preferred
- Have personal basic hand and power tools
- Have a strong understanding of vehicles, equipment, diesel, hydraulic, electrical, and other systems and components
- Have a strong ability to ask questions and problem solve
- Have a strong ability to use various hand tools including basic and precision measurement tools
- Have a strong eye for detail
- Have strong organizational skills with the ability to follow a digital paperwork system
- Have strong communication skills with the ability to communicate well with others
- Have a solid ability and aptitude to learn new computer systems
- Will follow established procedures and practices with ability to comprehend work instructions
- Can exhibit stamina throughout the day while performing job duties
- Are willing and able to drive company vehicles if performing road calls and
- Have the ability to work a flexible work schedule based on the needs of the fleet, including evenings and weekend work if needed
