Diesel Service Technician Needed in Bristol, PA! - Gpac

Seeking an experienced Diesel Service Technician in the Bristol, PA area for a well-respected, multi-location Transportation Equipment Sales and Service company. Qualified applicants understand the importance of doing a job correctly and the value of satisfied customers. Regular duties include basic diagnostics, service repairs, and maintenance work on customer and/or dealer-owned transportation equipment in the shop and service locations.

Diesel Technician Responsibilities:

• Performs basic diagnostics and both major and minor repairs
• Preforms electrical system repairs
• Maintains condition of vehicles, inventory, tools, and equipment.
• Efficient worker able to deliver quality repairs in a timely fashion.
• Team player and people person who can communicate effectively with customers and team members.
• Maintains a clean work area and performs work in a neat and orderly manner.
• Follows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments.
• Completes all reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignments.
• Accounts for all time on a time card and for all material used in performing assigned duties.

Diesel Technician Qualifications: 

• Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of dealership experience
  • Ideal candidate will have certifications and/or experience with all or most of these systems: Cummins, Paccar, Allison, Eaton
  • Direct experience with Peterbilt and/or Kenworth
  • Electrical diagnostics and computer-based diagnostics and repair is required
  • Required to possess PA semi-annual inspection license
