Qualifications
- Certified Dietary Manager Certification or current enrollment in a certification course approved by the Dietary Managers Association
- ServSafe Certification required within 90 days of employment
Responsibilities
• Managing kitchen staff
• Maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations
• Conducting audits and training as needed
• Managing inventory, budgets, & labor
• Developing menus
• Ensuring that nutritional requirements for patients are met timely
• Attending care conferences
• Supervising kitchen staff and ensuring adherence to health and safety standards
• Assessing residents' individual dietary needs and preferences
• Developing/updating dietary plans in consultation with healthcare professionals
