The Digital Communications Manager will work closely with the Senior Manager, Communications, and company leaders to ensure internal and external communications align with company priorities and initiatives while informing, engaging and inspiring the team
The Digital Communications Manager must communicate clearly and concisely, deal with ambiguity, work calmly under pressure, and represent the brand to the highest standards within and outside of the organization
What you will do..
Collaborates with key players to identify digital communications opportunities and provide critical messaging to stakeholder groups in the organization, including field and corporate employees of all levels Develops strategic plan and creates content for company's digital communications channels, including SharePoint intranet and social media Administers company's digital communications channels, including SharePoint intranet, social media and blog Manages content calendar and produces communications for various digital channels, including news stories published to SharePoint intranet and social media posts
Records, edits and produces company podcast to support and enhance leader communications Measures and tracks the effectiveness of company's digital communications channels Collaborates with internal teams, including IT and Operations, to amplify brand attributes and develop stories that define the company's core values Supports the Communications Team in other duties, as assigned Requirements Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, multimedia, English or related field Minimum of 5 years of experience on a corporate communications team, with an individual focus in digital communications Skills Excellent writing and editing skills, including knowledge and usage of Associated Press style, with a concentration in digital communications initiatives; writing samples will be required Demonstrated storytelling ability across a variety of communications channels, with a focus on socializing company messaging Proven experience with multimedia applications, including podcasting, photography and videography Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail Proven time-management and organizational skills with the ability to balance multiple, competing priorities Professional and confident presence to engage internal partners and external stakeholders Demonstrated experience building relationships across all levels of the company Collaborative contributor, able to work independently and as part of a team to deliver innovative ideas and solutions Compensation Data:$85,000 - $100,000 Req #: 60855 Please be advised that the actual salary offered for any position is subject to the company's sole discretion and may be influenced by various factors, including but not limited to the candidate's qualifications, experience, location, and overall fit for the role.Herc Rentals values its employees and provides excellent compensation and benefits packages which are not limited to the following.Keeping you healthy Medical, Dental, and Vision Coverage Life and disability insurance Flex spending and health savings accounts Virtual Health Visits 24 Hour Nurse Line Healthy Pregnancy Program Tobacco Cessation Program Weight Loss ProgramBuilding Your Financial Future 401(k) plan with company match Employee Stock Purchase ProgramLife & Work Harmony Paid Time Off (Holidays, Vacations, Sick Days) Paid parental leave
