Digital Print Operator | $20-$26 DOE at Express Employment Professionals

A local company in Seattle is searching for a Digital Printing Operator to join their team. A successful candidate is someone who would enjoy working in an exciting, fast-paced print environment in support of their Mission Statement: They do the job RIGHT the FIRST time, with QUALITY and meet or BEAT the deadline. 

Exciting things you get to do:

· Prioritize incoming orders based on such criteria as customer needs, workload, media, finishing, bindery, and machine capabilities.

· Receive, process, & modify client files as needed to print per specifications.

· Make suggestions regarding media, substrate, bindery, and other finishing options.

· Operate and maintain printers, scanners, bindery and/or finishing equipment.

· Maintain media, substrate, ink, toner, bindery, and/or finishing inventory.

· QC printed and finished materials based on our high-quality standard.

· Package completed projects for Will-Call, Delivery, or Shipping.

Skills that you bring to the job:

· The ability to communicate effectively with customers and co-workers.

· Working knowledge of MS Software such as Outlook, Excel, & Word.

· Tech savvy and Attention to detail – able to navigate new (and old) software with limited training.

· Mathematical skills including Imposition and Scale.

· Knowledge of materials and equipment utilized in printing, duplicating, & binding.

· The ability to lift up to 50lbs, & maneuver printed sets efficiently to ensure no damage occurs during bindery and/or packaging.

Required Experience:

· 1-2 years Reprographics or Digital Printing Experience

· 1-2 years working experience in Bindery or Finishing of Printed Materials

· Working Knowledge of RIP software – Smart Stream, Prisma, or Fiery a plus.

· Working Knowledge of Acrobat, Bluebeam, or other PDF software.

Shift: Day M-F

Pay range: $20.00 to $26.00 per hour, depending on experience.
