Title:Digital Signal Processing (DSP) EngineerKBR is seeking a highly qualified DSP Engineer to provide support for the NRO Mission Operations Directorate (MOD)
MOD operates, maintains, and reports the status of intelligence satellites and their associated ground systems, provides defensive space control and space protection, monitors satellite flight safety, and provides space situational awareness
This effort includes support to innovation labs developing new tools, models, and algorithms to operate and exploit satellite space and ground systems.Responsibilities:As a DSP Engineer, you have in-depth expertise and experience in developing prototype solutions to exploit digital signals from overhead SIGINTRF collection sources, tailoring those tools and techniques to successfully prosecute high-value targets as required by mission operations. Required Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related quantitative science fieldHave at least 3 years of DSP expertise and experience in developing prototype solutions to exploit digital signals from overhead SIGINT and other RF collection sourcesAbility to tailor tools and techniques to successfully prosecute high-value targets as required by mission operations.Active TS/SCI with CI polygraphDesired Qualifications:Master’s degree in engineering or related quantitative science field Experience leading teams resulting in successful verification and test strategies/solutions for complex programsExperience with cloud development processesExperience with industry system engineering practicesStrong interpersonal skills in order to influence, collaborate and work effectively with all levels of internal and external leadership.Knowledge of NRO Mission Operations DirectorateBasic Compensation: $123,200.00 - $184,800.00The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.Additional Compensation:KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation
