Frederick Living, part of Garden Spot Communities, is located in Zieglerville, PA (Montgomery County). We are a small, 32 bed Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) offering a full spectrum of care from retirement living, personal care, licensed healthcare, rehabilitation services, respite to memory care services.

Job Title: Dining Server

Status: Full Time & Part Time

Shifts Hiring For:

• Full Time 6am - 2:30pm & Part Time 3:30pm - 7:30pm

Salary Range: Experience based pay starting at $13/hr PLUS Shift Differentials that include $1 for Evenings and an additional $1 for Weekends!

As a Dining Server, supporting our mission will include the following responsibilities:

• Demonstrate how to operate dish machine and knows correct wash and final rinse temperatures. Knows
  corrective action if wash/final rinse temperatures are not meeting standards
• Demonstrates correct labeling and dating procedures along with proper food storage techniques
• Uses knives and cutting boards appropriately
• Demonstrates how to operate small equipment: griddle, can opener, toaster, etc
• Demonstrates how to prepare non-cooked menu items: sandwiches, sides, entree salads, etc
• Demonstrates correct portioning of all menu items during meal service consistent with menu extensions
  using the correct serving utensils, etc.
• Able to read and interpret patient/resident meal tickets and serve meal consistent with prescribed
  resident diets & textures

What do I need for this role with Frederick Living?

• High School diploma preferred, but not required
• Some experience preferred, but not required
