Job Description
- This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing equipment and company assets associated with pork processing while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to policies and procedures.
- Troubleshoot facility and equipment problems that occur in theday- to-day operations. Perform work that involves hydraulics, electrical, plumbing, conveyor maintenance, 3-phase wiring, AC/CD control wiring, welding, and pneumatic systems.
- Set up, adjust, and break down production machinery.
- Preform scheduled preventative maintenance duties.
- Read and understand equipment manuals and instructions.
- Complete daily reports and paperwork.
- Work environments are wet and humid.
- Temperatures range from 35 to 90+ degrees.
- Work includes climbing ladders, working from elevated platforms, standing, and walking on hard floors and occasional lift of 60 lbs.
