Royal Community Supports is looking for a self-motivated, energetic Direct Support Professional to support an Individual who lives in Lawrence Township, NJ
Lawrence Township - Adult recently moved to Lawrence and living in own apartment seeking experienced DSP support with errands, doctor's appointments, daily housekeeping, assistance with cooking, and getting familiarity with the new community. Seeking DSP who is familiar with the area, has provided support in areas listed above previously, and who understands person-centered thinking. DSPs must be mature, responsible, and know how to follow the lead of the person supported. Individual seeking support has vision and hearing challenges. Individual seeking DSP support is also funny, smart, and kind. DSP must use own vehicle for transporting individual so DSP must have reliable car and be willing to drive. DSP must also be okay with having a cat around, as the individual has a service cat. Ideal schedule is 7 days a week, 5 pm - 8 pm or 6 pm - 9 pm. Flexibility with days possible for right DSP. Hours are set. $24.50/hr.

Qualifications:

Minimum of a High school diploma or equivalent
Must have a car
Must have valid driver's license and good driving record
