Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a dynamic team of 6 accounting professionals, fostering a positive and collaborative atmosphere.
- Oversee and manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting processes in compliance with US GAAP.
- Provide insightful financial analysis and reporting to senior leadership, supporting strategic decision-making.
- Champion process improvement initiatives to streamline operations and drive efficiency within the accounting team and across the organization.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and external regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to build strong relationships and align on financial objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
- 10+ years of accounting experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting.
- Proven ability to lead and develop a high-performing team.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate at all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated experience with process improvement and driving change.
- Public accounting experience preferred.
