Director of Operations & Benefits:
Easterseals New Jersey is seeking a strategic and visionary leader to join our team as the Director of Benefits and Employee Operations!

What will you do?
Provide direct supervision and leadership of day-to-day HR transactions. Diagnose workflows and processes and recommend creative solutions that will positively impact HR’s ability to more efficiently and effectively handle complex HR systems.
Employee Operations:
- Streamline and enhance employee lifecycle, including HRIS management.
- Implement and maintain best practices for employee record-keeping and data integrity.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the employee experience and operational efficiency.
Benefits Administration:
- Oversee the design, implementation, and administration of health, wellness, retirement, and other employee benefit programs.
- Ensure all benefit programs are compliant with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Continuously evaluate and optimize benefit offerings to maintain competitiveness and cost-effectiveness.
Compliance & Reporting:
- Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations.
- Prepare and present regular reports on benefits utilization, cost analysis, and other key metrics.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and regulatory changes to proactively adjust policies and practices.
Qualifications And Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field required. Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of progressive HR experience in a leadership role with a focus on benefits and employee operations and process improvement.
- Proven experience leading and developing a high-performing HR team.
- Detail orientated with the ability to identify gaps in workflows.
- Able to analyze and create solutions for more effective and streamlined HR operations.
- Proficient in MS Office.
- SHRM-SCP or SPHR certification a plus.
