To continue our mission, Sciometrix is looking for a passionate leader. The ideal candidate must be able to understand and identify business critical KPIs, guide and monitor growth rate vs burn rate, should be able to advocate, develop and design new processes, coordinate with customers, and influence financial outcomes. Great with technology adoption, guide developers for new financial workflows, able to present and explain technical concepts, and products. Experience with Telehealth Preventive Programs, cross functional collaboration with clinical, physicians, accountants and payors. The successful candidate should be familiar with the current healthcare landscape, regulations and upcoming reforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Oversight and Management:
Establish and maintain financial control standards across all teams.
Lead corporate financial management activities, including P L analysis, cash flow management, forecasting, debt, and investment management.
Conduct comprehensive financial risk analysis and develop mitigation strategies.
Develop and refine financial models to benchmark performance and guide future decisions.
Audit and Quality Assurance:
Manage and coordinate rigorous audit and quality assurance processes to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data and reporting.
Oversee the management of financial metadata, including customer retention, patient churn rate, and employee performance metrics.
Strategic Planning and Communication:
Provide strategic financial guidance and advice to support corporate decision making.
Effectively communicate financial insights and digital health business intricacies to stakeholders and investors.
Revenue Cycle Management and Operations:
Guide and direct medical billing processes and revenue cycle management activities.
Collaborate with developers to enhance the functionality and efficiency of internal financial systems.
Reporting and Analysis:
Deliver timely and accurate business reporting, financial metrics, and analysis.
Monitor data trends, troubleshoot issues, and develop actionable plans to address financial challenges.
Identify root causes of data discrepancies and implement corrective measures to ensure data integrity.
Process Optimization and Automation:
Streamline financial processes and workflows to optimize key performance indicators.
Lead efforts to automate financial reporting and business processes, driving efficiency and accuracy.
Plan and monitor growth and expenditure rates to support strategic decision making.
Collaboration and Innovation:
Foster a culture of collaboration and innovation across internal and external teams.
Engage with business leaders and cross-functional teams to align financial goals and priorities.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance financial performance and operational effectiveness.
Skills:
Proven success in strategic financial planning, analysis, and decision-making in complex organizational environments.
Extensive experience in financial reporting, analysis, modeling, and audit management.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of identifying trends, assessing risks and developing innovative solutions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex financial concepts to stakeholders.
Proficiency in financial management software and ERP systems, with experience in system implementation and optimization.
Strong leadership abilities, demonstrated by the ability to build and lead high performing teams.
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and integrity in financial reporting and analysis.
Adaptability to fast-paced, dynamic environments and effective management of competing priorities.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 7-9 years of progressive financial management experience, including 5+ years in a leadership role overseeing financial operations.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field required; Master's degree preferred.
Professional certification such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant), CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) or equivalent strongly preferred.
Experience with Product or product services startup preferred.
Experience in the healthcare or digital health industry (Highly desired)
