The Manager & Lead Executive Support reports directly to this role. This position is hybrid.
NYC Salary Range - $130,000 - $165,000 annually; compensation is commensurate to geographic location.
Eligible for an annual corporate incentive

What you'll do:President & CEO Executive Support:
- Focus on high-level support to the President & CEO, board of directors, and executive leadership team.
- Collaborate with the President & CEO to ensure strategic, high-level support to the board of directors.
- Prepare correspondence, reports, speeches, presentations, and internal communications, ensuring consistency and engagement.
- Manage budget for the Executive Office and board of directors/volunteers’ cost centers.
- Lead project teams for internal events and initiatives.
- Liaise with high-level UN officials, credit union executives, and external contacts.
Board, Volunteers & Internal Committees’ Liaison:
- Communicate directly with and support the board of directors and volunteer committees to effectively execute their responsibilities.
- Guide the Senior Executive Administrator in preparing materials for board meetings, conferences, and other events and to administer the board and volunteer committees’ various policies.
- Serve as back-up recording secretary for the board and manage historical preservation of governance materials.
- Oversee the Nominating Committee’s responsibilities for the annual board election and manage the production of the Annual General Meeting.
- Manage activities of volunteers, keeping the Board Chairperson and President & CEO informed of developments.
- Direct the compilation of board meeting materials from various leaders across the organization.
- Organize and support the annual international board planning session.
Executive Operations Leadership:
- Provide guidance to the Manager & Lead Execuive Support, who reports directly to this role. This includes driving performance management, coaching, and development of the Executive Office support team.
- Ensure the team utilizes tools and resources effectively to improve productivity and support delivery.
- Foster collaboration and communication across the executive support team to build unity and teamwork and address top issues consistently.
- Pursue innovative ways to improve processes and support solutions.
Leadership Events and Miscellaneous:
- Provide advisory and support services for leadership events, ensuring adherence to organizational protocols.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date corporate records (e.g., Corporate Charter, Bylaws, Governance Policies, and Operational Policies).
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned, ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and UNFCU’s Code of Ethics.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Communications, or similar.
- 7+ years of experience in executive leadership support or administration, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
- Adept at business communications with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A track record of leadership experience including managing change, problem solving, influencing, project management, and developing others.
- Ability to travel internationally and domestically as needed
- Board governance expertise
- Experience in financial services, marketing, corporate communications, or similar including managerial and administrative roles
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Bi-lingual skills (English and French, Italian, or Spanish)
- Knowledge of the credit union industry and the United Nations community
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Professional and expense reporting software
