Job Overview:We are currently looking for a Global Sales Director for Nikkiso Fueling and Solutions (NFS) to manage the NFS Global Sales Team in line with the objectives and direction of the Functional Unit management. This individual will be responsible in driving our strategy to expand and profitably grow the global region to support the growing market and capitalize the NFS footprint with our innovative productions and solutions. This individual will be self- driven, motivated and an entrepreneurial leader with multiple years of experience in Cryogenic equipment applications, LNG Systems, Industrial Gases and Solution Environment.
Must have fluid transfer system or process system and controls sales experience. Must be willing to relocate to Escondido, CA area.
Annual Salary: $128,735 to $264,350
Responsibilities:- Responsible for the development and performance of all sales activities for assigned Functional Unit. Supports and develops growth plans for the given market and customer base. Establishes plans and strategies to expand the customer base in the marketing area and contributes to the development of training and educational programs for client.
- Responsible for year-on-year bookings growth for Prime equipment aligned with the overall company strategy.
- Annually develops a business plan and sales strategy for key accounts that ensure attainment of company sales goals and profitability.
- Initiates and coordinates development of action plans to identify and penetrate new markets.
- Build, manage and lead a global sales team, with a strong presence in all global regions.
- Alligns engineering and sales team to develop products.
- Assists in the development and implementation of marketing plans as needed.
- Develops relationships across a broad range of disciplines in target accounts to support account development and growth.
- Responsible for presenting new product developments and business strategies to customer base within assigned market.
- Provides timely feedback to senior management regarding performance.
- Provides timely, accurate, competitive pricing on all completed prospect applications submitted for pricing and approval, while striving to maintain maximum profit margin.
- Creates and conducts proposal presentations and RFP responses.
- Controls expenses to meet budget guidelines.
- Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team.
- Delegates authority and responsibility with accountability and follow-up.
- Sets examples in areas of personal character, commitment, organizational and selling skills, and work habits.
- Maintains contact with all clients in the market area to ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
- Demonstrates ability to interact and cooperate with all company employees.
Domestic and International travel required.
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, or similar field.
- Master’s Degree in engineering is preferred, but not required.
- At least 5 years’ experience in sales management.
- Must have experience with product development.
- Extensive experience in all aspects of Supplier Relationship Management.
- Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
- Willingness to travel and work in a global team of professionals.
- Proven leadership and ability to drive sales teams.
- Proven expertise in relationship management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
