We are seeking a dynamic Director of Growth Marketing to spearhead our efforts in enhancing patient acquisition and retention. In this pivotal role, you’ll craft and execute impactful strategies that engage healthcare providers nationally, leveraging diverse marketing channels to achieve success. Your mission will be to shape our public perception and establish industry leadership through strategic growth opportunities, guided by data-driven insights and a commitment to excellence.
As the Director of Growth Marketing, you will oversee the development and implementation of marketing programs focused on referrals and proactive outreach. You’ll work closely with service line leaders in key areas such as heart and vascular, transplant, neurology, digestive diseases, OBGYN, and cancer to drive volume and generate referrals. Your role involves managing relationships, defining strategies, and demonstrating value through data analysis. With the support of your team, you’ll be instrumental in crafting marketing initiatives that align with our growth objectives. This position requires a deep understanding of healthcare provider behaviors and preferences, strategic thinking, creativity, and the ability to collaborate across various teams to drive marketing success in the healthcare sector. The Director will also own factbooks based on market, customer, competitor, and UChicago Medicine data and analysis
Who You Are
An innovative thinker capable of developing creative engagement strategies and who possesses:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (advanced degree preferred)
- A minimum of 8 years in progressive growth marketing roles within healthcare or related industries
- A proven track record of leading complex marketing programs and strategic initiatives
- Expertise developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies, deploying integrated campaigns across diverse channels, and leveraging metrics to optimize ROI
- A deep understanding of consumer and provider behaviors, coupled with an ability to drive engagement and growth

What You’ll Do
- Strategic Development: Understand and map customer and referrer motivations and behaviors to inform content delivery and healthcare solutions. Develop a multi-year growth roadmap aligned with service line and fiscal year goals.
- Marketing Strategies: Craft and implement outbound marketing strategies using Marketing Cloud sales enablement tools. Enhance patient acquisition and retention by developing personalized communication strategies.
- Engagement Programs: Design and lead engagement programs aligned with growth objectives, utilizing events, sponsorships, thought leadership, and direct marketing.
- Content Creation: Develop and refine marketing content to drive engagement and conversions. Maintain marketing collateral and collaborate with stakeholders to craft compelling narratives.
- Opportunity Prioritization: Assess strategic growth opportunities based on internal and external insights. Collaborate with institutional leaders to create business cases and implementation timelines.
- Performance Monitoring: Track and report campaign success using OKRs and analytics. Optimize strategies based on results to enhance ROI and transition successful initiatives to permanent owners.
- Data Management: Compile service line factbooks and develop dashboards to track performance, integrating key views for coherent performance management across teams.
