Position Summary:
Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize pharmacy services across the network, ensuring alignment with the organizational safety goals and clinical excellence. Provide strong leadership to the pharmacy teams at all hospitals, retail, and clinic locations across the network. Develop winning teams with collaborative and innovative skills. Develop and manage pharmacy budgets through revenue enhancing and cost reduction. Including capital and operational aspects, keeping minimal staffing for quality patient care. Maintains drug formulary and inventory control. Oversee day to day operations as the network Pharmacist-In-Charge for medications dispensing, inventory management, regulatory compliance, and requirements. Oversee pharmacy informatics, automation, and technology solutions for accurate medication management. Serves as co-chair of the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committees. Responsible for promoting teamwork with all members of the healthcare team. Performs all duties in a manner consistent with St. Luke’s mission and values.
Education, Experience, & Licensing Requirements:
Education: Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited school of pharmacy is required
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a pharmacy leadership role
Licensure: Current licensure as a Pharmacist by the Missouri Board of Pharmacy
