Director - Pump Operations - American Rental Association - Partnership

Job Purpose

The Director of Pump Operations is the primary contact for all Pump Sales & Operations at Herc Rentals. In this role, you will play a vital part to the launch and growth of an expanding product line and will serve as a product expert for both internal and external customers.

What you will do...

• Assist in the development and expansion of our pump strategy, execution plans, & standard operating procedures within our pump line of business.
• Execute new pump store openings and involved with new store development, people, fleet, and GTM sales strategy.
• Actively involved with pump fleet planning and new product strategy through proper lines of business
• Assisting with annual and business planning, including budget and forecast, AOP, CE Fleet plans in coordination with SDO's, VP ProSolutions.
• Direct supervisor to our Estimating Department overseeing bid proposals, submittals, & complex projects are managed through bid process.
• Oversee bid platforms for identifying bid work in each market (IE: Dodge, Bid Ocean, Bid Sync and local market bid platforms.
• Work collaboratively with Technical Sales Team & Herc Plus to develop relationships with key customer accounts, grow share of wallet with existing accounts, and penetration plans to drive new business
• Cultivate effective "cross selling" activity "through and with" our existing sales resources
• Attend trade associations and networking events to create external brand awareness
• Work closely with training department, field service team, and vendors to provide training on pump equipment
• Demonstrate active participation in Herc Rentals Safety Culture, always prioritizing the safety of team members and customers alike
• Support all team members

Requirements

• BA/BS University degree
• Prior direct involvement in operations & fleet management, territory development, subordinate coaching, training, and mentoring
• Highly skilled in both verbal and written communications along with public speaking
• Advanced financial and business acumen in the equipment rental industry
• Customer service experience required.

Compensation Data

Base Salary DOE: $120,000- $150,000 + Annual Bonus + Fleet Truck
