Director- Rehabilitation Services - Trinity Health System

The Director of Rehabilitation Services provides leadership for the operational success of the Rehabilitation Departments including all hospital based & outpatient based care locations. The Director of Rehabilitation Services develops & administers rehab programs in the Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit, acute care PT, OT, and speech pathology in accordance with national standards and administrative policies & procedures designed for patients to achieve their optimal level of function. The director is responsible for maintaining internal controls that assure clinical excellence, regulatory compliance, fiscal stewardship, customer satisfaction, strategic planning & growth in alignment with the mission, vision, & values of Trinity Health System. The effective leader would create a culture of service with continuous performance improvement & a focus on efficient inter & intradepartmental initiatives.

Essential Key Job Responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications

Required Education (for CHI Leadership Job Levels from Supervisor through President)

• Required Bachelor’s Degree in related discipline
• Doctorate Degree strongly preferred

Required Education for Staff Job Levels

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Program with OH State License.
• Minimum of 5-7 years’ experience with previous management experience.

Required Licensure and Certifications

• Physical Therapist License
• BLS.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• All standard modalities utilized within a physical therapy department. Evaluation tools, evaluation & therapeutic treatment skills. May enter the secured medication rooms to deliver or access supplies and equipment necessary to carry out the core job functions.

PREFERRED Qualifications

• Doctorate of Physical Therapy preferred.
