This role is on the SMG Strategy and Development - SDO organization focused on ensuring data driven decision making for key strategic and transformational initiatives. We work with a variety of stakeholders across marketing and sales teams and broader corporate functions to optimize our investments and ensure key initiatives are consistent with IC priorities and SMG top jobs, backed by robust data and with quantifiable, measurable business outcomes.
The person in this role will partner with SMG teams, esp. Global Ops, Regional and Category Sales and Marketing and Finance to leverage broad ranging expertise across critical business pillars to shape SMG's investments and ensure they are delivering on expected value.
Responsibilities include:
- Supports the development and execution of business strategies that aid the long-term growth for the corporation.
- Monitors and benchmarks strategic performance by gathering data from various internal and external sources and conducting due diligence.
- Tracks key market trends and competitors to gain a better understanding of current business model and its strengths, opportunities, and areas of improvement for competitive advantage.
- Works with project/cross functional teams and ensures that all agreed business strategy projects are progressing and delivering desired results on time and in budget.
- Builds business cases and review documents secures buy in of executive management.
- Develops business relationships with third parties to understand the business and technical requirements.
- Builds the business case to justify potential strategic partnerships and corporate transactions.
- Partners with cross functional teams to guide/ assist with accomplishing business unit strategic objectives, and evaluate and drive strategic thinking on expansion opportunities.
- Identifies opportunities that support strategic priorities by interacting with senior business leaders.

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or master's degree in business, Finance or related field required.
- 12+ years of experience, with demonstrated progression in leadership roles, particularly in strategic planning or business development in related industries or with ecosystem players
Preferred Qualifications:
- Industry Experience in the tech sector or IT industry
- Track Record of Success: Demonstrated success in developing and implementing business strategies that have led to measurable improvements in performance
- Experience implementing complex engagements involving cross-functional and global teams.
- Previous experience working with strategy, sales, marketing and operations teams, finance, IT and data teams in other corporate functions.
- Experience leveraging data platforms in conjunction with business acumen and knowledge of analytical tools.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US:
$162,600.00-$284,620.00Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience.
Work Model for this Role
