Director of Advocacy and Strategic Initiatives at IAPD

Statewide association seeks a highly motivated, articulate, and well-organized individual with the desire to make a lasting impact on communities throughout Illinois as its chief legislative advocate. Must possess strong written and oral communication skills as duties include public speaking and testifying before legislative committees. Legislative experience, law degree, and/or local government experience preferred. This is a challenging but rewarding full-time, Springfield-based opportunity with limited in-state travel. Salary range $85,000 - $105,000 based on experience and qualifications with opportunity for regular growth.
