Director of Annual Giving
The Director of Annual Giving will be responsible for growing the Angelicum's donor base to 3,000-4,000 loyal, recurring, long term donors in the range of $25 - $10,000.

The Director of Annual Giving will be responsible for growing the Angelicum's donor base to 3,000-4,000 loyal, recurring, long term donors in the range of $25 - $10,000.

Responsibilities:
- Housefile solicitation schedule.
- With the help of Chief Advancement Officer, compose quarterly 2-page fundraising letter.
- Draw from CRM (Salesforce) quarterly mailing list and prepare list for mail merge.
- Strategically segment mailing and assign campaign codes, which are tracked in Salesforce.
- Coordinate with print shop for a timely mail drop.
- With each quarterly housefile campaign compose 1–2 fundraising emails to be sent to the Angelicum's donor panlist.
- Work with Chief Advancement Office and Director of Mission Advancement on mid-year and end of year individual targeted solicitation and follow up plan.
- Donor base cultivation.
- In communication with Mission Advancement Office team, draw up and implement new plan for non-solicitation digital communications to panlist.
- Work with Mission Advancement Office team to develop content and ensure timely print and send of quarterly Angelicum Newsletter.
- Maintain digital and print distribution strategy for other non-ask and collateral materials.
- CRM Management.
- Track campaign codes in Salesforce to evaluate effectiveness of various fundraising efforts (parish missions, meet and greets, digital solicitations, quarterly newsletter, etc.).
- Input new research, contact information, and other donor data into Salesforce as needed.
- Work with International Dominican Foundation staff as needed to answer questions about gifts, campaigns, and donor information from Salesforce.
- Request net worth screening updates as needed from Windfall.
- Stewardship of parish missions contacts.
- Review and implement follow up communication strategy for new donors and contacts from parish missions.
- Aim to achieve a 20% renewal rate from first-time parish mission donors.
- Flag to Chief Advancement Officer any new parish mission donors that have made significant gifts or who show up with a significant net worth rating.
- Acknowledgment letters.
- Write handwritten thank you notes to donors within a certain gift or net worth range.
- Manage handwritten thank you note pipeline for other staff members, including Director of Mission Advancement, Chief Advancement Officer, Rector, and Director of Foundation Relations.
- Meet and greet follow up and planning.
- Work with Director of Mission Advancement (Fr. Benedict Croell) to plan and strategize meet and greets (regional donor and prospective donor gatherings) in cities where he will be preaching parish missions.
- Coordinate with hosts as necessary on event logistics.
- Follow up in a timely manner with event attendees, input contact information into Salesforce, and assist Director of Mission Advancement in follow up solicitations.
- Alumni relations.
- Implement consistent post-PUST contact information acquisition strategy for all graduating students.
- Develop digital alumni newsletter (quarterly) and send in a timely manner.
- With Chief Advancement Officer develop outreach strategy for American alums to

- Introduce friars to potential major donors.
- Host meet and greets for friars with potential major donors.
- Miscellaneous.
- Work with Chief Advancement Officer on strategic opportunities, including capital campaign.
- Work with Director of Mission Advancement on strategy for special projects.
